CD Playback (continued)
Random play
H
The tracks on the disc(s) can be played in random order automatically.
To play all tracks on up to 5 discs:
Press the RANDOM button on the remote control.
To play all tracks on the chosen discs:
1. Press one of the s 1 - s 5 buttons.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the DIRECT PLAY button on the main unit.
3. Press the RANDOM button on the remote control.
To cancel random play:
Press the 0 button.

Notes:
I If you press the 2 4 PRESET W (2/4) button during random play, you
can move to the next track selected by the random operation. On the other
hand, the 5 3 PRESET X (5/3) button does not allow you to move to
the previous track. The beginning of the track being played will be located.
I In random play, the unit will select and play tracks automatically.
(You cannot select the order of the tracks.)
I The DVD, MP3 and WMA disc will be skipped and random playback will be
disabled.
I This function is not available for WMA, MP3 and DVD discs.
I Repeat play cannot function during random play.
Caution:
After using repeat or random play, be sure to press the I button.
Otherwise, the disc(s) will play continuously.

CD playback can be changed as follows.
Press the
button repeatedly on the remote control.
All disc repeat
Normal playback
Track repeat
To cancel repeat play:
Press the
button repeatedly to turn off the " ".
A-B repeat

At the start point of playback, press the

I This displays "
" (repeat) indicator.
I This registers the start point (A).

At the end point of playback, press the
pressing down the SHIFT button again.
I This starts A-B repeat from the start point (A) to the end point (B).
I To cancel A-B repeat, press the A
again. The "
" indicator disappears.
Notes:
I This function is not available for WMA and MP3 discs.
I Random play cannot function during repeat play.
