Possible cause and remedial actions

Make sure that TCP/IP has been installed and con-
figured on all the PCs on the local network and that
the PCs all belong to the same workgroup.

Check whether the resource has been released on
the PC in question and whether you have the nec-
essary access rights.
ì
Printing: Check whether the printer has been set up
as a network printer.
ì
Radio data transmission depends on the operating
environment, for example the building stock or the
influence of other devices in the vicinity that trans-
mit in the 2.4-GHz frequency range.
ì
Arrange your WLAN devices closer together.
ì
Change the antenna direction.
ì
Position the device elsewhere.
ì
Switch off other radio sources in the vicinity.
They may interfere with data transmission.
ì
Choose a different channel.
ì
Check to see if the problem also arises with a differ-
ent type of encryption.
