Installation
Basically this speaker system is designed to be mounted
on the rear deck.

When there is no dedicated hole on the rear deck, or,
if any, it does not fit the speaker, please make fitted
holes by cutting the rear deck.

Attach the four speed nuts c to each edge of the
holes.

Connect the cords a to the speaker.

Place the speakers on each hole.
Fix each speaker by tightening the four screws b.

Connections
Precaution on making connections
Before connecting, make sure that the ignition switch is
set to OFF, and remove the ( terminal of the battery to
avoid short circuits.
Caution
• Do NOT connect the negative ( cord of each speaker
wire to a common point.
• Do NOT connect the speakers in parallel.
• Do NOT connect the terminals of the speaker system
to the car chassis.
Speaker-cord connections
When connecting the speaker cords, take care not to
reverse the polarity (plus and minus) according to the
classification of the cord colors described in the table.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Error code
In the following cases the corresponding error code
indication appears. Follow the suggestions below to
solve such problems. If the error code indication does
not disappear, consult an AIWA service center.
E03
Focus error. Check that the CD is loaded properly
(right side up, etc.), and the CD contains valid
data.
Reset button
If a CD does not operate properly, press the reset button
with a pointed object such as a pencil, etc. Note that all
your settings will be erased if this button is pressed.
