RECORDING

Recording analogue sound

MM-FX500 has a remarkable function to
record your voice and the music input from
an external audio set. MM-FX500 converts
the analogue sound into digital format (MP3/
AFX files) and then stores the sound on the
MultiMediaCard.

Recording your voice

1 Press the MENU button repeatedly
until REC MODE appears on the
display.
2 Press the 9 or 0 button to select
VOICE 16KHz.
Press the la button to register the
selection. The VOICE indicator will be
displayed.

3 Press the MENU button to move to
REC SLOT mode.
4 Press the 9 or 0 button to select
MultiMediaCard #1 or #2.
Press the la button to register the
selection.
5 Press the s button to exit MENU
mode.
6 Press the REC button to start
recording.
Note
• The file name and number will be
generated automatically by MM-FX500,
and shown on the display.
e.g.
s RECV003
7 Address the message to the built-in
microphone.
8 Press the s button to stop recording
It will take a few seconds to return to stop
mode, then the file name and number
will scroll in the display. Play the voice file
to confirm whether the recording was
successful.
