Playback
1 Press the la button to turn on the
power.
The display will turn on.
2 Press the 9 or 0 button to select
the desired file to play.
The display will show the file name and
number each time you press the 9 or
0 button.

3 Press the PLAY MODE button if you
want to select Random and/or Repeat
play mode (see page 25).
4 Press the DTP button if you want to
select a special sound effect.
Each time the DTP button is pressed, the
sound mode will appear in the sub-text
display.
Note
• Heavy bass may be distorted at high
volumes with the JAZZ sound effect. If
this happens, reduce the volume.
5 Press the la button to start playback.
The playback mode indicator will be
displayed.
To pause playback, press the la button.
To resume playback, press the la
button again.
6 Adjust the volume by pressing the
VOLUME +/– buttons on MM-FX500 or
by rotating the VOL dial on the remote
control.
7 Press the s button to stop.
Note
• Press the la button on the remote
control once to turn on MM-FX500 and
start playback.
