PREPARATIONS

Connecting MM-FX500 to your PC

Connect your PC and MM-FX500 with the supplied 25-to-15 pin parallel cable.

Connecting an external audio set

Connect the LINE OUT jack of the external audio set with an optional connecting
cord to the LINE IN jack of the unit.
LINE IN
You can record music sent from the external audio set while listening to it through the
headphones (see Page 27).
Note
• The LINE IN jack of the unit should be connected to a 3.5mm stereo mini plug.

Notes
• When plugging the cable into the
MM-FX500 connector slot, make sure
that the metal plate on the cable plug is
facing up. Insert the cable gently.
• When transferring data between the PC
and MM-FX500, do not disconnect the
parallel cable.
• To disconnect the 25-to-15 pin parallel
cable from MM-FX500, press the levers
on both sides of the plug and gently pull
it out.
