Hard Disk Drive Addition
1.
Turn off the unit after shutdown.
2.
Add the hard Slave hard disk drive.
NOTE: When the hard disk drive you are adding is a used one, format it on
Windows-based PC first.
3.
Turn on the unit again.
Hard Disk Drive Removal
1.
Turn off the unit after shutdown.
2.
Remove the Slave hard disk drive.
3.
Turn on the unit again.
Hard Disk Drive Replacement
Case I: When replacing problem ' MASTER' hard disk drives...
1.
Prepare a new primary IDE hard disk drive.
2.
Turn off the unit and remove the problem Master hard disk drive.
3.
Connect a primary IDE hard disk drive.
Turn on the unit again and the following screen appears. Select Yes to prepare a new

Master hard disk drive.
5.
You will be asked to confirm the system reboot when a new Master hard disk drive has
been partitioned. Select OK to reboot the system.
