Hot Keys

(Shortcut key combinations with special functions)
To activate the hot keys, press and hold down the Fn key and then press the desired addi-
tional key. For certain functions it may be necessary to install a driver or additional software.
Please refer to the 'Installation Instructions' section.

Keys Meaning
Fn + F1 Switches the wireless network (WLAN) on/off.
Fn + F3 Reduces the volume.
Fn + F4 Increases the volume.
Fn + F5 Switches between LC display/DVI output/LC display+DVI output/TV output/
LC display+TV output.
Fn + F6 Reduces LCD brightness.
Fn + F7 Increases LCD brightness.
Fn + F10 Switches the loudspeakers on/off.
Switches the LC display on/off.
Fn + F11
Fn + F12 Switches to power save mode.

Power Saving Button

The power saving button is located next to the on/off button just above the keyboard. In power
save mode, the processor speed and display brightness are reduced in order to increase
battery life. Power save mode is only available when the notebook is powered by battery.
