Relay to protect the Battery Charger from a short circuit and reverse polarity. The 12 Volt Relay will not connect the battery to the Battery Charger unless the battery voltage is more than 9 volts and connected to the proper polarity.

The Battery Charger features six separate circuits that allow the unit to charge up to six batteries at once. To charge a battery, pull out the sliding Shelf on the Battery Charger, and place the battery on the Shelf. Connect the Charger Clamps (7) as discussed in Step #7, page 10 .
