Useful Functions

BEEP
Note: You cannot mute a beep and a security
alarm that are generated when opening or
closing the display.
Default: ON
ACC SEL
Default: OFF
Caution: Be sure to select OFF when
your car has no ACC position in the igni-
tion switch. Failure to do this could cause
the battery to go dead.
SECURITY LED
Allows you to activate the anti-theft function
when leaving your car.
Default: ON
VIDEO-CNT (VIDEO CONTROL)
This "Video Control Setting" is required when
you connect a Panasonic car navigation sys-
tem with a built-in DVD player.
Default: VTR 1
MEMORY CLEAR
This product retains setting information even if
the battery is disconnected. However, "MEMORY
CLEAR" allows all setting information to be reset
to default settings.
Default: NO
Caution: Be aware that this function
restores the unit to default settings, so that
all the memories and settings that you have
set will be lost.
