The Battery Status bar shows the percentage of power left in the Mio battery. The words External power will
display when the battery is charging from an external power source. Otherwise it will show Internal battery when not
connected to an external power source.
To charge the battery, refer to the Hardware User Manual.

Touch audio

The touch audio option allows you to hear a tone when you tap the touch screen.
Complete the following:
If you want to ...
hear which letter you have tapped when
you tap the touch screen
hear a tone when you use the on-screen
keyboard for text input
Your preferences are automatically saved.
Then ...
tap Time format and then select your preferred time format from the
Units screen.
tap Distance Units and then select your preferred distance unit type
from the Units screen.
tap Date Format and then select your preferred date format type from
the Units screen.
Then ...
tap the Audio option to turn it On or Off.
tap the Speak keyboard letters option to turn it On or Off.
