Problem
The camera image is dim.
The camera is not operable.
OSD items (Clock, Camera title, Monitor
status, Event) overlap one another.
Tour/group sequence is not activated.

Dust may be sticking on the camera
lens.
The camera's lens focus may not be
proper.
The camera's cable compensation set-
ting may not be proper.
The camera may not have been select-
ed.
The camera may not support the func-
tion you try to execute.
The camera's cable setting may wrong.
The data port setting may wrong.
When the BUSY indicator is lighting on
the system controller, a higher-priority
operator has selected the camera.
While the PROHIBITED indicator is
lighting on the system controller, you
are prohibited to control the camera.
The tour/group sequence setting may
be wrong.
The setting has not been put from the
PC to the unit.
When the PROHIBITED indicator is
lighting on the system controller, you
are prohibited to control the camera.
Remedy
Remove the dust from the camera lens.
Press the FOCUS NEAR/ FAR buttons
to adjust the lens focus. If the camera
supports auto focus, press these but-
tons simultaneously. The lens focus can
be adjusted automatically.
Open 610 COMPENSATION/VD2/DATA
(refer to p. 49) or the Cable Compensa-
tion/VD2 window (refer to p. 63) to con-
firm the setting.
Select the camera again. (Refer to p.
75.)
Confirm whether the camera supports
the function. (Refer to the camera's
operating instructions.)
Open 610 COMPENSATION/VD2/DATA
(refer to p. 49) or the Cable Compensa-
tion/VD2 window and confirm the set-
ting (refer to p. 63). If the camera's
DATA is set to OFF, the RS-485 camera
will not be operable.
Open the Data Port window (refer to p.
65) and confirm the setting.
• Select another camera.
• Wait until a higher-priority operator fin-
ishes controlling the camera.
Open the Operator Registration window
(refer to p. 59) and reconfigure the set-
ting.
• Turn off an overlapping item. (Refer to
p. 83.)
• Move OSD items. (Refer to p. 83.)
• Change the area title display position
through the camera's setup menu.
(Refer to the camera's operating
instructions.)
Open 300 SEQUENCE SETUP (refer to
p. 46), the Tour Sequence (refer to p.
53) or Group Sequence (p. 54) window
and reconfigure the setting.
Put the configuration data to the unit
again after the configuration. (Refer to
p. 66 Put a File to SX150.)
Open 700 OPERATOR REGISTRATION
(refer to p. 50) or the Operator
Registration window (refer to p. 59) and
reconfigure the setting.
