AREA OF A TRIANGLE
Use the solver to find the area of triangle.
1. Two legs of a right triangle (neither of which is the hypotenuse) are of length
25 and 38. Find the area of the triangle.
2. Triangle ABC has two sides of lengths 13 3 cm and 18 cm that enclose angle

3. A wooded lot has the shape of STR in the figure below. The highway
department plans to purchase the region shown as MOR for frontage on a
proposed interstate highway. A survey of the region shows the distance
from point M to point O is 60 feet, the distance from R to M is 85 feet, and
the angle enclosed by these two lengths is 65°. The deed for the lot
indicates that the distance from S to T is 170 feet and the distance from
S to R is 245 feet. The owner of the lot has determined that the area of the
four-sided region remaining after the highway department purchase is 16,244
square feet. Find the area of the region the highway department plans to
purchase. Find the measure of angle at the back corner of the wooded lot.
