Method of Teaching
Use Blackline Master 2.1 to create an overhead or handout for direct and
graphical evaluation of trigonometric functions. Demonstrate the procedure
changes for radian measurement. Remind the students of the location of
cosecant, secant, and cotangent within the MATH menu.
Next, use the Blackline Masters 2.2 through 2.4 to create worksheets for the
students. Have the students evaluate the six trigonometric functions directly
and graphically for the various degree and radian measurements. Use the
topics For Discussion to supplement the worksheets.
