Cleaning and care

Clean the Ice Cube Machine regularly.
If you are not using the appliance,
absolutely remove the water in it - by
means of the drainage valve
Remove the plug from the wall
socket.
Place the Ice Cube Machine in such
a position that you can hold a suffi-
ciently large container under the
drainage valve
Hold a sufficiently large container
under the drainage valve
Open the drainage valve
water drains out.
Close the drainage valve
more water flows from the valve.
Leave the lid
Cube Machine is dry on the inside.
This will avoid the formation of
mould.
Before cleaning the appliance:
Remove the power plug from the
power socket.
Allow the appliance to cool.
Should there still be water in the
appliance, pull the drainage valve
out and drain off the water.
Clean all areas, surfaces and the po-
wer cable with a lightly moistened
dishcloth. Dry the appliance well
before re-using it.
Do not use cleaning agents or sol-
vents. These can cause damage to
the appliance.

Storage and transportation

First allow the appliance to dry comple-
tely before before placing it in storage.
Store the appliance in a dry place.
Do not tip the Ice Cube Machine
during transportation or storage.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance
in your normal domestic waste.
Dispose of the appliance through a regi-
stered specialist disposal firm or through
your community waste disposal depart-
ment.
Observe the currently applicable regula-
tions. In case of doubt, contact your local
waste disposal facility.
