Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for
the production of ice cubes in domestic
households. It is not intended for conti-
nuous operation. The appliance is not
intended for use in a commercial setting.

Safety instructions

To avoid potentially fatal electric shocks:
• Ensure that the power cable never
becomes wet or damp during opera-
tion. Lay the cable such that it cannot
be pinched or otherwise damaged.
Should the power cable or the plug
be damaged, have the customer
service replace it before you use
the appliance again.
• Do not leave the appliance perma-
nently connected to the mains net-
work.
• Always remove the plug from the
power socket after use. This will
ensure that the appliance does
not start unintentionally.
• Do not use the Ice Cube Machine
outdoors. Do not expose the Ice
Cube Machine to rain.

To avoid the risk of fire or injury:
• When in use, do not attempt to touch
anything inside the appliance, especi-
ally the cooling/heating pipes.
• Do not insert objects of any kind
into the appliance.
• Do not touch any moving or electri-
cally charged parts in the interior
of the appliance.
• Never cover the ventilation slots.
Ensure it is placed at a sufficient
distance from walls (min.15cm).
• Never leave the appliance unatten-
ded when it is in use.
• Do not permit children or infirm
persons to use the appliance without
supervision. They cannot always cor-
rectly assess the potential hazards.
• Only use the appliance on a stable,
non-slippery and level surface.
• Do not place burning objects, such
as for example candles, on the appli-
ance.
• Avoid close proximity to heat sources,
e.g. direct solar radiation, heaters
and other appliances etc.!
• Do not place water-filled receptacles,
such as flower vases, on the appliance.
• Do not use extension cables. In an
emergency the power plug must
be quickly accessible.
• You may not open the casing or re-
pair the appliance yourself. If you
do, appliance-safety can no longer
be assured and the warranty is voi-
ded. Repairs are to be carried out
exclusively by a specialist firm or
the service centre.
