The following DIMSE service is supported.

12.1 N-NET

♦ Description
• Updates the Attribute Information of the Basic Annotation Box SOP instance belonging to the Film
Box SOP instance that was created the last.
• The Annotation already specified can be deleted if (2030,0020)(Text String) is specified with the
length set to 0.
• When a multiple number of settings have been made to the same (2030,0010)(Annotation position),
those made the last will be taken valid.

• When no values have been specified for each element of "Usage SCU=U," uses the defaults and
returns "Success:0000H."
• When no values have been specified for each element of "Usage SCU=M," returns "Failure:0120H."
This applies also when no DataSet has come.
• If values of each element of "Usage SCU=M" exceed the range, returns "Failure:0106H."
• For a Failure case, attributes will not be updated, with the values remaining the same as before.
Processing can be continued.
• Returns "Warning:0116H" when an attempt was made to specify to the Text String (2030,0020) a
character string that exceeds 64 characters.

There are six Annotation Boxes as follows. 1: Top left, 2: Top center, 3: Top right, 4: Bottom left, 5: Bottom center, 6: Bottom right.
Character fonts will depend on the configuration settings. Cut the end of a line if it is too long for printing.
