11.1 N-CREATE
♦ Description
• Creates the Presentation LUT SOP instance and initializes it according to values sent by the SCU.
• To combine the instance thus created to the Basic Film Session SOP instance, Basic Film Box SOP
instance or Basic Grayscale Image Box SOP instance, it is necessary to set the UID of this instance for
each instance using the N-CREATE or N-SET function.
• Settings using the Presentation LUT prevail those using the Configuration Information (2010, 0150).

* (2050,0020) is valid only when (2050,0010) has not been specified. When both have been specified,
make sure to use (2050,0010).
♦ Status
• If values of each element of "Usage SCU=U" have not been specified, uses the default values and
returns "Success:0000H."
• If values of each element of "Usage SCU=MC" have not been specified although needed, returns
"Failure:0120H." This applies also when no DataSet has come.
• If values of each element of "Usage SCU=M" exceed the range, returns "Failure:0106H."
• The LUT Data (0028,3003) length must be twice as large as the first value of the LUT Descriptor
(0028,3002). For other than this, returns "Failure:0106H" to the LUT Descriptor (0028,3002).
