10 Printer SOP Class (1.2.840.10008.5.1.1.16)

The following DIMSE services are supported.

• N-EVENT-REPORT

• N-GET

10.1 Overview

• Used to represent the printer and to obtain printer status.
• At time of printer startup, the SCP automatically creates instance and awaits the "well known SOP
instance UID." The value will be "1.2.840.10008.5.1.1.17."
10.2 N-EVENT-REPORT
♦ Description
• As the printer status changes, N-EVENT-REPORT will be issued to all associated SCUs for using the
relevant printer.
