2. Basic Copying Procedure

Multi Bypass Copying

Use the Multi Bypass to make copies on paper not loaded in any of the
Drawers or to copy onto transparencies, translucent paper, or any other special
paper.
You can also use the Cover Mode when the Multi Bypass Table is used with
the Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder AF-3/AFR-7 (option).
Types of Paper
Plain paper (weighing 60 to 90g/m
Heavyweight paper (weighing 90 to 157g/m
Transparencies, translucent paper
Paper Size
Width: 100 to 297mm
Length: 140 to 432mm
Capacity
Plain paper (blank) ... 50 sheets or less
Plain paper (1-sided copies) ... 20 sheets or less
Heavyweight paper, transparencies, translucent paper: 20 sheets or less
Using the Multi Bypass Table

Place the original on the Original
Glass and make the control panel
settings.

Swing down the Multi Bypass
Table and slide the Paper Guide
Plate to the size of the copy
paper.
