Still Image Recording

Preparation: Open the LCD monitor to turn on the camera.
Slide the mode switch to select

(still image) mode.

To view the image you just recorded
A
Select after shooting.
During the preview, you can delete the
image by selecting

To change the picture quality
Change the settings in
[IMAGE QUALITY]. (p. 64)

To record still images continuously
Set to [CONTINUOUS SHOOTING] in
[SHUTTER MODE]. (p. 64)

To record using the timer
Press the Self Timer [z] button. (p. 22)
NOTES
•
DIS (Digital Image Stabiliser) does not function during still image recording.
•
If the camera is not operated for 5 minutes while the power is on, it turns itself off automatically to
conserve power. (AUTO POWER OFF: p. 67)

button to select recording mode.
Press and hold the SNAPSHOT
button halfway.

The indicator becomes green when
the captured image is focused.
Press the SNAPSHOT button fully
to take the photo/picture.
