Troubleshooting Guide

Having trouble with the sound system?
Condition
Possible Solution
No sound (LED not lit):
• turn POWER switch ON
• charge batteries
No sound (LED flashes):
• turn microphone switch ON
• make sure all cables are completely plugged in
No sound when using CD input: • check for output from source
• make sure all cables are completely plugged in
Distorted sound:
• lower system volume control
• replace or recharge batteries
Shortened battery life:
• replace worn NiCad batteries
• 'Cycle' NiCad batteries (see page 6)
• reduce volume to eliminate distortion
Having trouble with the wireless system?
Condition
Possible Solution
No sound (LED solid):
• turn up volume level
• plug microphone into bodypack transmitter.
No sound (LED flashes):
• make sure transmitter power switch is ON
• set body pack transmitter switch to F1 or F2
• set receiver and transmitter to same channel
Frequent transmitter dropouts:
• replace mic/transmitter battery
• move mic/transmitter closer to MiniVox
• make sure collar or headband mic cable is fully
plugged into transmitter.
