5.5 Mounting the MPD Series Industrial Monitor

The MPD Series industrial monitor can be mounted in a panel, cabinet, rack, DIN rail or
wall. The monitor can also be mounted on a monitor arm or stand. The mounting methods
are described below.
CAUTION:
When mounting the monitor take care to tighten the retention screws or bolts
until fully secure, but do not over tighten. Over tightening the retention screws
or bolts may cause them to become stripped, rendering them useless.

5.5.1 Panel Mounting

5.5.1.1 Standard Panel Mounting

The standard panel mounting procedure applies to the following MPD Series industrial
monitors:
MPD 19AG
MPD 17AG
MPD 15AG
MPD 12AG
MPD 10AG
MPD 08AG
To mount the MPD Series industrial monitor into a panel, please follow the steps below.
Select the position on the panel to mount the monitor.
Step 1:
Cut out a section of the panel that corresponds to the rear panel dimensions of

the monitor. Take care that the panel section that is cut out is smaller than the
overall size of the metal frame that surrounds the monitor but just large enough
for the rear panel of the monitor to fit through (Figure 5-8).
