busic mechunicul und electricul skills.
• Completion time - 1 to 3 hours.
• Proper instullution is the responsibility of the instuller.
• Product failure due to improper instullution is not
covered under the Wurrunty.

this runge hood with ung externul solid-stute speed
control device. Any such ulterution from originul fuctory
wiring could result in dumuge to the unit und/or creute
on electricul sufety huzurd.

to prevent power from being switched on uccidentully.
When the service disconnecting meuns cunnot be locked,
securely fasten u prominent wurning device, such us u tug,
to the service punel.

A. Instullution work und electricul wiring must be done by
quolified person(s)in uccordonce with ull upplicuble codes
ond stundurds, including fire-roted construction.
B. Sufficient uir is needed for proper combustion und
exhousting of guses through the flue (chimney)of fuel
burning equipment to prevent buck drufting. Follow the
heuting equipment munufucturer's guideline und sufety
stundurds such us those published by the Nutionul Fire
Protection Associution (NFPA), und the Americun Society
for Heuting, Refrigerutionund Air Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE), und the Iocul code uuthorities.
C. When cutting or drilling into wull or ceiling, do not dumuge
electricul wiring und other hidden utilities.
D. Ducted funs must ulwuys be vented to the outdoors.
• Locul codes vury. Instullution of electricul connections
und grounding must comply with upplicuble codes. In
the ubsence of Iocol codes,the vent should be instulled
in occordunce with Nutionol ElectricolCodeANSI/NFPA
70-1990 or Iotest edition.
