HDMI out port can connect with Type A
connector HDMI cable.
HDMI cable can send video and audio signals. In
addition to this, it can send and receive control
signals.
Connect the infrared transmitter cable to the
infrared transmitter cable port on the computer
and to the set-top box.
One eSATA/USB combo port, which complies to
the USB 2.0 standard, is provided on the back of
the computer. The ports with the icon (
USB Sleep and
Charge. This port has eSATA
(External Serial ATA) function.
This jack lets you connect to a LAN. The adaptor
has built-in support for Ethernet LAN (10
megabits per second, 10BASE-T), Fast Ethernet
LAN (100 megabits per second, 100BASE-TX)
and Gigabit Ethernet LAN (1000 megabits per
second, 1000BASE-T). The LAN has two
indicators. Refer to Chapter 4,
for details.
This indicator glows green when the computer is
connected to a LAN and the LAN is functioning
properly.
This indicator glows orange when data is being
exchanged between the computer and the LAN.
Connect the coaxial cable to this port to watch
TV programs on your computer or record them.
The dimensions and shape of the TV antenna
port vary for different regions.
Some models are equipped with a TV tuner.
The cooling vents help keep the processor from
overheating.
