    DESCRIPTION OF WARNING SYMBOLS Earth (ground) TERMINAL. Equipment protected throughout by DOUBLE INSULATION or REINFORCED INSULATION. Caution, risk of electric shock.   • Page 5 OPERATIONS A.C. CURRENT MEASUREMENT WARNING: MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL TEST LEADS ARE DISCONNECTED FROM INSTRUMENT TERMINALS. 1. Set the range selector switch to the highest 600A range position. 2. Press the trigger to open the transformer jaws and clamp on to one conductor only (Fig.1).

    OPERATION cont’d . . . RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT AND CONTINUITY CHECK WARNING: MAKE CERTAIN THAT THERE IS NO VOLTAGE IN THE CIRCUIT OF COMPONENTS BEING MEASURED. Set the range selector switch to the OHM ( ) position. Insert the red test lead into the V/ terminal of the instrument and the black test lead into the COM terminal.
