Troubleshooting and tips

The Pocket PC switches off

If you operate the Pocket PC too long with only the battery, the Pocket PC switches into the
Suspend mode when the battery charging level is too low.

Connect the power adapter to charge the battery.
Ê
Press the Suspend button.

The Pocket PC does not start after switch on

If the Pocket PC does not start after switch on, this may be due to one of the following:
The battery is dead
Ê
Charge the battery.
Ê
Connect the power adapter to the cradle with the Pocket PC.
Ê
Check whether the power adapter is connected correctly to the cradle.
Ê
Check whether the power cable is plugged properly into the power adapter and into the mains
outlet. The indicator on the power adapter should illuminate.
The battery is charged. LED is blinking green.
The power adapter is not connected correctly
Ê
Switch the Pocket PC off.
Ê
Check whether the power adapter is connected correctly to the Pocket PC.
Ê
Check whether the power cable is plugged properly into the power adapter and into the mains
outlet.
Ê
Then switch the Pocket PC on again
