Install smokestack damper as illustrated.

Install smokestack over smokestack pilot as
illustrated.

Place heat shield in bottom of cooking
chamber. Place charcoal grate (smaller than
the cooking grill) into cooking chamber
allowing it to rest on the heat shield.

Place the cooking grill on grill support
brackets and bolts in cooking chamber.

Insert the chrome push plug into hole in lid of
cooking chamber.
If you have purchased a Smoke'N Pit
temperature gauge, remove tightening ring
from gauge. Drop probe through hole and re-
thread tightening ring. A Smoke'N Pit
