TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Please read this section carefully if your Autocloser does not function correctly.
The unit does not beep or beeps intermit-
tently when aligning the reflector while in
setup mode
After the door has been open for the set
delay time, the unit does not beep.
STEP 1
1) Make sure the switch is in the
center position (setup mode).
2) Place hand about 6 inches in front
of the infrared sensors. Does the
Autocloser beep?
• Yes- Re-align the reflector
and make sure it is within
three feet of the Autocloser
when the garage door is
open.
• No- Check the receptacle
plug for power by plugging
in another device into the
outlet .Go to Step 2.
STEP 2
Does the electrical outlet work?
Yes- Please contact Xcel-
tronix, Inc. for possible war-
ranty service.
No- Fix Electrical outlet.
STEP 3
Is the garage door fully open?
No- Open garage door and
recheck.
Yes- Go to Step 4.
