Formatting the Hard Drive︱
The StoreJet 25's internal hard drive comes pre-formatted for Windows 2000, XP or Vista (NTFS).
If you are planning to use the StoreJet on a Mac or Linux operating system, you will need to
re-format the StoreJet drive.
WARNING! Formatting the disk will erase all of the data on your StoreJet 25.
To format the StoreJet 25 with FAT32 file system in Windows
1. Plug the StoreJet 25 into an available USB port on a Windows
2. Unplug all other USB storage devices from your computer. This is to prevent accidental
format of a different USB drive.
3. Insert the included Software CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
4. Open "StoreJetFormatter.exe" in the "Software" folder of the Software CD.
5. The program will automatically detect the StoreJet 25 drive.
6. Under File System, select "FAT 32" from the drop down list.
7. Press "Start".
