2. CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

A. CLEANING YOUR VITREOUS CHINA TOILET
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not
use any oil or lubricants on the Pressure Lite
system. This may result in damage to the system.
NOTE: Cleaning of the Pressure Lite system is not
necessary. If cleaning is desired, use only mild soap
and water.
If you live in a hard water area, you should make certain
that the holes in the rim are kept clean for proper bowl
flushing. Toilet bowl cleaners should be used at least
once a week. Use a long-handled brush to clean the rim
holes and to clean as far into the trap as possible to
prevent mineral deposits from forming.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
WARNING: Do not use in-tank cleansers.
Products
containing
hypochlorite) can seriously damage fittings in the
tank. This damage can cause leakage and
property damage.
Kohler Company shall not be responsible or liable for
any damage to these tank fittings caused by the use of
cleansers containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite).
B. CLEANING YOUR PLASTIC TOILET SEAT
Kohler toilet seats are color-matched to Kohler fixtures.
Properly cared for, they will last for years. Use only a mild
detergent such as dishwashing soap when cleaning the
seat. When you clean your toilet, make sure you
immediately wipe off any cleaner that may remain on the
seat. This is especially important around the hinge areas
and bumpers of the toilet seat. An application of Lemon
Pledge will restore the gloss to plastic toilet seats. Do not
use cleaners containing alcohol or pine oil as they may
cause damage.
