IntroductIon

The Interface Kit allows you to play music from an iPod
through your vehicle's radio system. Reading this Owner's
Manual ensures that you will get the most out of your audio
experience. This manual explains how to integrate the radio
with your iPod using the Interface Kit. Button locations and
labeling will differ depending upon your vehicle's make and
model.
For new iPods, follow the iPod instructions for loading songs
into it before connecting to the radio. The Interface Kit uti-
lizes the Satellite Radio (SAT) controls of your radio's. There-
fore, Satellite Radio controls are used to search for and play
music from the iPod.
NOTE: With the Interface Kit installed, satellite radio use
is not possible.
