Asante's flagship IntraCore 35516 Series is a versatile Layer 2/Layer 3
Gigabit switch. By understanding network protocols and addresses, the
IC35516 limits broadcast domains to improve network efficiency. Easily
bridge and route traffic between subnets and virtual LANs. Available in
two configurations, each model delivers a full 10/100/1000 Mbps of
performance to each of the 16 ports.
IC35516-T is ideal for growing networks. On four ports (13, 14, 15 and
16), this L2/L3 can switch and route between any combination of long-
distance fiber backbones (using optional GBIC modules) or workgroups
connected through 10/100/1000BaseT copper cables.
IC35516-G is Asante's most powerful all-Gigabit switch. Fill up to 16 GBIC
garages with fiber modules. Four ports can also handle 10/100/1000BaseT
copper.

Guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS). With traffic shaping,
network bandwidth can be automatically allocated for high priority
voice or other traffic. Handle data/voice/video over Ethernet/IP
with IP multicasting and IGMP.

Advanced Security. Lock down security per-port or per-MAC
address using station move and duplicate IP detection services.
Enforce authentication for both wired and wireless clients using
port-based or MAC-based IEEE 802.1x and RADIUS servers.

Integrated Services. Integrated DHCP server, DHCP relay, IP/UDP
helper, DNS, Syslog, MOTD and banner.
