RT (Radio Text)
[MODE]
Press until "Radio Text" scrolls on the display.
b The display switches as shown below each time [MODE] is
pressed.

w PS : Preset station name
e PTY : Program type
r CT : Current time

t RT : Radio text

b When the station currently tuned in is offering the radio text
message service, messages scrolls across the display.
• When the RT mode is turned on while an RDS radio station not
offering the RT service is tuned in, "NO TEXT" is displayed on the
display, and instead the name of the station is displayed.
• In the same way, the name of the station is displayed when the RT
service is finished. In this case, the station name display automatically
switches back to the PS mode when RT broadcasting resumes.
• The RT mode cannot be used on the AM band or for FM stations not
offering RDS broadcasts.

iPod ® playback
The music on an iPod can be played by using the Control Dock for iPod
(ASD-1R, sold separately).
The iPod can be controlled using the buttons on the main unit and the
remote control unit.

Connect the DRA-CX3 and iPod using the Control
Dock for iPod (ASD-1R) (vpage 7).

• The display switches from "LINE1" to "iPod" .

Press for 2 seconds or more to select the play
mode.
Browse Remote
Browse:
Displays menu or track information on the display of the main unit.
("DENON" is displayed on the iPod display.)
Remote:
Displays menu or track information on the iPod display.
("iPod" is displayed on the display of the main unit.)
b Select the remote mode to enjoy iPod video information such as
slide shows and videos.
