SONAR 4 has several new features (some features are in SONAR Producer only).
The following is a listing of each new feature, and a brief description.

Surround Mixing

SONAR Producer fully supports Surround Mixing. For more information, see
Chapter 12, Surround Mixing.
SurroundBridge (Surround Effects
Linker)
SONAR Producer has the new SurroundBridge that allows you to use any stereo
or mono plug-in your surround mixes. For more information, see "Surround
Effects" on page 488.

Track Folders

Track Folders contain other tracks, making editing much quicker, and freeing up
screen space. For more information, see "Track Folders" on page 238.

Slip-editing Multiple Clips

You can now perform Slip Editing on multiple clips. For more information, see
"Slip-editing Multiple MIDI Clips" on page 293, and "Slip-editing Multiple Audio
Clips" on page 379.
