Enhanced Video Options

If your TV has S-Video or Component Video inputs, you can enjoy
superior picture quality.

Connect an S-Video cable OR set of Component Video cables
from the DVD Recorder to your TV as shown.

Select the S-Video or Component Video input on your TV to
view the DVD Recorder.

Activate the S-Video or Component/Progressive Scan Video
output in the Setup menu; see page 22.

NOTE:
• If you use one of these enhanced video connections, you must enable the Video
Output in the menu system; see page 22.
• Be sure to choose one of the audio connection options on page 17.
