6. When the Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard window prompts, click Finish. The
drivers of BenQ USB Composite Device have now been installed.
7. The Found New Hardware Wizard will re-launch for the second part of the driver installation
- BenQ USB Controller.
8. Repeat the instructions as stated above to install BenQ USB controller.
*DDC/CI, short for Display Data Channel/Command Interface, which was developed by Video Electronics
Standards Association (VESA) to expand on the existing DDC standard. A monitor utilizing DDC/CI can
make bi-directional communication between PC and itself, without an additional cable connection. The
video graphics card and the standard analog or DVI signal cable will do the data transmission. DDC/CI
capability allows monitor controls to be sent via the software for remote diagnostics.

Software installation

1. Execute Visual Optimizer.msi from the folder named Visual_Optimizer_SetUp on the pro-
vided CD.
2. If you have Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your system, skip to the next step. If you
do not have Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your system, you will be asked to install
it prior to installing Visual Optimizer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation of Microsoft .NET Framework. This will take a few minutes. When done, execute
Visual Optimizer.msi again.
3. When the Welcome to the Visual Optimizer Setup Wizard screen displays, click Next to
proceed.
4. Click Next on the Select Installation Folder screen.
You may specify the file location by clicking Browse and decide only you or others can use this soft-
ware. To view the disk cost for installed components, click Disk cost.
5. Click Next on the Confirm Installation screen to start installing the software.
During the installation, the status bar indicates processing status. This will take a few seconds.
6. Click Close in the Installation Complete screen.
Now the shortcut icon of Visual Optimizer will be displayed on your desktop. Double-click the icon to
activate the software. The icon of Visual Optimizer will also be displayed in the tray table.
