To fix the slack in the belt of a Genie INTELLIG 4024H:
1. Disconnect power from the opener.
2. Disconnect the carriage from the bullet in the rail.
3. Ensure the door is in the down position.
4. At the center of the rail, check that the belt is not resting on the rail.
5. If the belt is resting on the rail, tighten the adjustment nut until the belt does not rest on the rail.
6. Do not overtighten the belt.
7. Inspect for fraying or other damage; contact a trained technician if needed.
