DSL-G624M Wireless 108G MIMO ADSL2/2+ Router User's Guide
Disabling the DHCP Server
To disable DHCP, click to select the
Disabled option and click on the Apply
button. Choosing this option requires
that workstations on the local network
must be configured manually or use
another DHCP server to obtain IP
settings.
If you configure IP settings manually,
make sure to use IP addresses in the
subnet of the Router. You will need to
use the Router's IP address as the
Default Gateway for the workstation in
order to provide Internet access.
To manually configure IP settings on Windows workstations,
open the TCP/IP Properties menu and select the "Use the
following IP address" option. You will need to supply the IP
address, Subnet mask and Default gateway for each
workstation. The example here also uses manually configured
DNS settings.
