Using other tuning values
Pressing an ORIENTAL SCALE button toggles
between the western tuning of the corre-
sponding notes and a setting that is a quarter
tone below western tuning (–50 cents).
However, you can also select other tuning val-
ues.
(1) Press and hold the ORIENTAL SCALE but-
ton of the note whose tuning you wish to
change until the display reads Scale,
followed by the note name.
You can also select this page and parameter
via the Function menu. See p. 55.
(2) Use the TEMPO [–][+] buttons to modify
the tuning of the selected note.
Setting range: –64~63 cents.
Note: To return to the default value ("–50"),
simultaneously press TEMPO [–][+].
(3) To leave the Function mode, press
[SONG], [TONE], [STYLE], or [USER PRO-
GRAM].
Saving and loading your tunings (Scale
Memory)
After setting the desired tunings, you can save
them to one of the three Scale Memories and
recall them whenever you need them. Here's
what you need to do:
(1) Tune the notes to your liking (see above).
(2) Press and hold the SCALE MEMORY but-
ton (1~3) that corresponds to the memory
where you wish to save your tuning set-
tings.

Appuyez sur un bouton ORIENTAL SCALE pour
alterner entre l'accord occiental et un réglage
se situant un quart de ton en-deçà de cette
valeur (–50 cents).
Vous pouvez cependant aussi choisir un autre
accord.
(1) Appuyez sur le bouton ORIENTAL SCALE
de la notes dont vous souhaitez modifier
l'accord pour que l'écran affiche Scale,
suivi du nom de cette note.
Vous pouvez aussi sélectionner cette page
et ce paramètre via le menu Function. Voyez
p. 55.
(2) Utilisez les boutons TEMPO [–][+] pour
modifier l'accord de la note choisie.
Plage de réglage: –64~63 cents.
Remarque: Pour retourner à la valeur par défaut
("–50") appuyez simultanément sur TEMPO [–][+].
(3) Appuyez sur [SONG], [TONE], [STYLE] ou
[USER PROGRAM] pour quitter le mode
Function.
Sauvegarder/charger vos réglages
d'accord (Scale Memory)
Après avoir réglé les accords souhaités, vous
pouvez les sauvegarder dans l'une des trois
mémoires "Scale Memory" pour ensuite les
charger quand vous en avez besoin. Voici com-
ment vous y prendre:
(1) Accordez les notes à votre guise (voyez
plus haut).
(2) Gardez un bouton SCALE MEMORY (1~3)
enfoncé pour choisir la mémoire dans
laquelle vous souhaitez sauvegarder vos
réglages.
