Setting an Email
Account
You can use email by setting up your own account with
any of the usual service providers. Details on setting up
your account should be available from your provider.

From the applications list screen, tap "Email".

Enter the email address and password
For an email account without preset provider
information, settings must be completed manually.
Contact your provider for details on settings.

Enter the account name.

Tap "Done".
To set another account
From the "Email" screen, tap
"Add account".

Setting a Google or other account

By configuring a Google account, you can use Gmail,
market, and other services.

From the Idle screen, tap
"Accounts & sync"

Tap the type of account.

Follow the screen prompts to configure the
account.

Idle Screen

The Idle screen is the starting screen for using
applications. Tap
You can slide the screen to move the Idle screen to a
page on the right or left.

4 Launch "Phone", "Call log", and "Contacts"
5 Open the application list screen
6 Launch browser

Adding an application shortcut

Touch and hold the Idle screen.

Tap "Shortcuts".

Tap the application shortcut to add.
The shortcut is added to the Idle screen.
Adding a widget
In step 2, tap "Widgets" instead of "Shortcuts".
Moving a shortcut

From the Idle screen, touch and hold the shortcut
to move.

Drag it to the desired place and release your
finger.
To move a shortcut to another page, drag the
shortcut to the right or left edge of the screen to
change the Idle screen to the right or left page.
To move to the Dock, make space by moving the
application from the Dock first.
