how do you add air pressure to storage tank?

To add air pressure to a GE GXRM10GBL storage tank:

1. Turn off the RO system’s inlet water supply.
2. Open the faucet and let water run until flow stops, then close the faucet.
3. Turn off the tank valve.
4. Lift the tank. If it feels heavy like a bowling ball, it may be full of water and need replacing.
5. Locate and remove the cap from the air valve on the tank (similar to a tire valve).
6. Use a standard air pump or compressor to inflate the tank to 7 PSI. Use low pressure and avoid over-inflating.
