The intention of this User Manual is to provide a guide for Safe installation, Configuration and operation of GWY-500 Functionality of all the Gateway models is same.     Dimensional details And Mounting Instructions GWY-500 -B unit can be mounted on a back panel or on a DIN rail or can be left hanging. It comes with a separate DIN rail plate when it is packed. User will have to attach the DIN rail plate to the unit if it has to be mounted on a panel or DIN rail. If it has to be left hanging, make sure to screw the cables to the DB9 connectors on the Gateway unit.

Both the communication ports are also isolated from each-other. It has two communication ports, one with Profibus-DPV0 network interface (9.6Kbps to 12 Mbps) and serial port with RS232 / RS422 / 2 or 4 wire RS485 (300 to 115.2K).
