Chapter 3 Tutorial
The ZyXEL Utility then asks whether you want to use the security settings in your
3
current profile or not.
If you click Yes, then it attempts to connect using those settings. If the settings
are correct and the ZyXEL Utility makes the connection, skip to step 5.
Note: If you do not yet have a profile, then the ZyXEL Utility uses the factory default
profile. This will not work when connecting to a secure network.
If you click No, then the Settings screen opens where you can enter new settings
to create a new profile that will allow you to connect to the selected network.
Proceed to the next step.
When the Settings screen opens, click either WEP Encryption or WPA Encryption
4
to configure your NWD-271N's security encryption. This must match the
encryption used by the wireless network to which you want to connect.
For details on the WEP encryption settings, see
For details on the WPA PSK encryption settings, see
Click OK to close this window when you are done configuring the encryption
settings.
The NWD-271N connects to the selected network.
