Using the Optional Optical Communication Unit
Reattach the base to the Optical
Communication Unit, orienting it upside-down
from what it was when you removed it, and
secure it in place with the two screws.

screws in the wall, and let it slide down to lock
in place.

Connecting Two or More Optical Communication Units

Up to 7 Optical Communication Units can be connected together using optional 6-6-pin
modular cable (DT-888RSC). This configuration makes it possible to upload and download
data between multiple Data Collector units and a personal computer at the same time.
Connect the C-OUT terminal of the
Optical Communication Unit that is
closer to the host computer to the
C-IN terminal of the next unit.
