To remove the lithium-ion battery pack

Slide the main battery compartment cover lock
to the FREE position and remove the cover.

Slide the lithium-ion battery pack from the
battery compartment cover.

Installing the Back-up Battery

Use a screwdriver to rotate the screw that
secures the backup battery holder in place
counterclockwise to loosen it.

Insert a screwdriver or some flat object into the
back of the backup battery holder and pull out
it.
