Entering device code from code list
The codes for the selected devices are to be
taken from the code list which is included
with the operating instructions.
a. Switch on the device you wish to control.
b. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
c. Press OK. CODELISTE AUFR. appears.
d. Select the CODE EING menu using the
navigation buttons.
e. Press OK. QUELLEN-TASTE appears.
f. Press the desired source button (TV, VCR,
CBL, ASAT, DSAT, DVD, AUX1, CD, AMP,
AUX2). The name of the source button
and the currently set code appear on the
display.
g. Select the desired code from the code list
using the number keys.
h. After the fourth digit is entered, the
confirmation message FERTIG appears.
The remote control then switches to normal
operation mode.
If an incorrect code is entered, the error
message FALSCHER CODE appears.
The remote control then returns to normal
operation mode.
Manual code search
With the manual search you can find all the
codes for a device, including those not given
in the code list.
a. Switch on the device you wish to control.
b. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
c. Press OK. CODELISTE AUFR. appears.
d. Select the CODE SUCH. menu using the
navigation buttons.
e. Press OK. QUELLEN-TASTE appears.
f. Press the desired source button (TV,
VCR, CBL, ASAT, DSAT, DVD, AUX1, CD,
AMP, AUX2). The message GERAET? TV
appears.
g. Use the navigation buttons to select the
device type you wish to program to this
source button. (When "TV" is selected,
it is not possible to select a device
type, because only TV codes can be
programmed to this source button.)
h. Press OK. FUNKTION TEST appears.
Perform the function test by repeatedly
pressing (up to 350 times) the buttons CH+
or PLAY (only for video recorders) until the
device changes channels, switches off or
responds accordingly.
The code search begins with the currently
saved code.
During the search, SUCHEN... appears
on the display (along with the selected
device type).
If you miss the code, you can go
backwards one at a time using the CH –
button.
i. When the device reacts correctly when
a button is pressed, press OK to save the
code. The confirmation message FERTIG
appears.
