Standard display
Current mode (device type) in the first line
Day of the week and time in the second line.
Display for selecting mode and device
Press a source button to select the mode and
the device which was programmed to this
source button.
On the first line is the name of the selected
source button;
On the second line is the programmed code
of this device.
Setup (Shift) button
After the setup button is pressed briefly, the
following appears:
the symbol for indicating that the SHIFT
function is activated (S) is displayed on the
first line;
the date is on the second line.
Protection against unintentional battery drain
If a button remains pressed unintentionally
(for example if an object is resting on the
remote control), the remote control sends 350
infrared signals (corresponds to approx. 30
seconds) and then stops transmission. This
prevents the batteries from being drained
unnecessarily.

Display when button is pressed
The "Send" symbol appears on the display
each time a button is pressed.
Settings after battery change
If the batteries have been inserted correctly,
the display is switched on. It shows the
current mode ("TV"), the day of the week and
the time.
TV mode
When "TV" is selected, it is not possible to
select a device type, because only TV codes
can be programmed to this source button.
Navigating the menus
To open the Setup menu, press and hold the
Setup button until the entry CODE SETUP
appears on the display with the additional
word "SET". When the display shows CODE
SETUP, press the Setup button again to
access the other menus:
CODE SETUP > SYSTEM SETUP > TIMER
SETUP > LERNEN SETUP > MACRO SETUP
> SETUP VERL.
Press OK to open a menu.
Press the navigation buttons to select among
the submenus.
