Problem solving guide

Some minor problems can be corrected without contacting Miele. If having
followed the suggestions below, you still cannot resolve the falut, please contact
Miele.
To prevent unnecessary loss of temperature it is advisable not to open the door
while waiting for the appliance to be serviced.
Installation, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by a Miele
authorised person in strict accordance with current national and local safety
regulations.
Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.
Problem
The appliance does
not get cold.
The door cannot be
opened several
times in
succession.

Possible cause
The appliance has not been
switched on. The temperature
display is not lit up.
The plug is not inserted in the
socket correctly.
Check whether the mains fuse
has tripped. There could be a
fault with the appliance, the
household electrical wiring or
another electrical appliance.
The suction caused by opening
and closing the door several
times in succession is
preventing it from opening. Wait
a few minutes and then try
again. It should now open
without force.
Remedy
^ Press the On/Off
button.
^ Insert the plug in the
socket correctly.
^ Contact a qualified
electrician or Miele.
