DCA-150SSKII — GENERATOR SHUT-DOWN PROCEDURE
Engine Shutdown
To shut-down the generator use the following procedure:
1. Place both the MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers
to the "OFF position"
2. Turn the Engine Throttle Handle (Figure 63)to the left and
push in to set the speed to 'low'.

3. If the generator is equipped with an idle control switch, set
the switch to "OFF" positon. (Figure 64)

4. Let the engine cool by running it for 3-5 minutes with no
load applied.
5. Place the Off/Manual/Auto Switch (Figure 65) in the "OFF/
RESET" position.

6. Verify that the "Engine Running" status LED (Figure
66) on the Microprocessor Engine Control Module
(MPEC) display is "OFF" (not lit).

7. If the generator is equipped with an ignition switch, (Figure
67) turn the key to the left to the "OFF" positionturn off
the engine.

8. Remove the load from the UNVO terminal strip (Figure 14 -
page 33).
